Women’s Fitness Brand Sweaty Betty Launches A Saucony Progrid Triumph 4 Collaboration

Simply creating great products is no longer enough; to truly stand out in today’s crowded athletic wear landscape, brands needs to empower consumers and foster a community around what they stand for. Sweaty Betty was one of the first adopters of such thinking in the late 90s, rising to become one of the most iconic women’s fitness brands with over 150 locations across Europe, Asia, and North America. Quiet as kept, the London-based company has made inroads in the sneaker world through collaborations with Saucony. Their next joint-effort features one of Saucony’s most popular models, taken in clean-cut, versatile makeup.

The silhouette in question is the ProGrid Triumph 4, the New England brand’s foremost tech runner and one of many relishing in the ongoing Y2K wave. Unlike the performance-focused output of Sweaty Betty x Saucony to this point, the Triumph 4 stands out as a retro running style currently touted for lifestyle wear (although it’s still plenty viable for most runners). Sweaty Betty’s collab strips down with a white mesh base and metallic silver overlays, with a fabric Saucony quarter logo being the key differentiator from your average inline colorway. For branding, Sweaty Betty’s bauhaus-style logo appears on the tongue in black and the insoles in pink, complemented by text on the lateral heel.

The Sweat Betty x Saucony ProGrid Triumph 4 is available now via Saucony for $140 in women’s sizes. Take advantage of the purchase links in our “Where To Buy” section if these are calling your name.
