The ASICS GEL-Nimbus 10.1 Surfaces In Green Metallics

The new hybrid shoe continues its run with fresh colorways.

The ASICS GEL-Nimbus 10.1 Surfaces In Green Metallics

Following a rollout headlined by a limited Stefon Diggs collab, the ASICS GEL-Nimbus 10.1 is ready to cement itself as a bonafide mainline offering. Continuing to prioritize metallics akin to similar styles like the GEL-1130 and GT-2160, the Japanese brand is touching down with a fresh silver and green colorway this November.

The Y2K wave has birthed several trending tech runners by brands like ASICS, New Balance, and Saucony, but few and far between are actually “new” in a traditional sense. Most of today’s most popular 2000s styles are either tweaked-up versions of archived models or fresh hybrid formulations consisting of one or more preceding silhouettes. The GEL-Nimbus 10.1 falls in the latter of those two categories, marrying the upper of the GEL-Nimbus 10 with a GEL-Kayano 14 sole. Compared to ASICS’ current tech runner catalog as a whole, the key quality worth pointing out is the offset eyelet positioning near toe top of the toe box.

As mentioned, this silver and green colorway is expected to release via ASICS this November for a retail price of $160. See official images below if you’re considering adding a pair to your rotation upon arrival.
