The Air Jordan 1 Mid Continues To Be Jumpman’s Bread And Butter

A literal take on a true icon.

The Air Jordan 1 Mid Continues To Be Jumpman’s Bread And Butter

Few can rival the power of the Air Jordan 1. Since a proper relaunch in 2013 with the simple “Nike Air” branding on the tongue label, the original Air Jordan has generated billions in revenue across all of its forms, quickly becoming the metaphorical bread and butter of the Jumpman. Whether your picky tastes will allow you to wear just the OG colorways, or you’re a fiend for the readily available Mid and Low, there’s no denying the Air Jordan 1 as perhaps the most popular sneaker on the planet.

This upcoming Air Jordan 1 is a playful concept that defines exactly how significant the model is to the brand. Despite the Retro High OG falling out of favor with sneakerheads, the Mid/Low trims continue to be a best-seller as the go-to casual retro sneaker of choice. The Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 is also among the most sought after shoes of the upcoming massive 2025 Jordan release line-up.

For this kids-only release, Jordan Brand adds a unique tongue logo that reads “Bread, Butter, and Sole” beneath a branding style often seen on packaging for a plain loaf of white bread. A hang-tag of a slice with a pad of butter is attached, while the insoles appear to depict the surface of a toasted piece of bread.

Currently, this Air Jordan 1 Mid “Bread And Butter” is expected to launch it Little Kids and Toddler sizes. Stay tuned to our Jordan Release Dates page for updates on other sizes.
