The Air Jordan 1 Mid Adapts A “Bred” Colorway For 2025

Jordan Brand is never shy about reprising their most beloved colorways.Few editions have gotten that treatment more than the “Bred,” and as Jordan Brand’s 2025 efforts come into view, a new Jordan 1 Mid that tackles the “banned” colorway has emerged.

While full images reveal a “Bred”-like arrangement rather than a true revival of the beloved style, note that it’s essentially only the collar and its surroundings that diverge from the iconic look. Reversing the red and black tones there makes the biggest impact in setting this colorway apart. However, a swap from red to white on the Wings logo and a black outsole further drive the point home.

Regardless of the differences, the storied combination of Bulls red, black and white still succeeds in this application. With pairs of 2016’s Jordan 1 Bred touching $300 in GS sizing, it’s an opportunity to tap into that championship DNA at a far more sensible price tag.

We’re projecting the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Bred” to release as we get into 2025. As mentioned towards the top, grade school sizing is confirmed ($110), but adult sizing is also expected ($125).
