One of the final releases during the silhouette’s 35th anniversary is the Air Jordan 4 “Orchid,” crafting a pitch-perfect women’s colorway with a heavy dose of premium materials. The Air Jordan 4 “Orchid” releases on October 26th in women’s sizing from size W5/M3.5 to size W12/M10.5, retailing for $215. The typical SNKRS release will be accompanied by launches at retailers.

The Air Jordan 4 “Orchid” has been one of the most highly-anticipated Jordan Releases since first look images leaked at the top of the year. Part of that stems from the fact that this edition flips the formula of already beloved pair, utilizing the exact same color-blocking format from the Jordan 4 “University Blue.” With that UNC pair hovering around double its MSRP on the grey market, demand is expected to be healthy for this women’s proposition.

The other half is the story is how this pair taps into rather unexplored territory for Mike’s fourth signature. “Pink Jordan 4s” is a prompt that’s gone almost entirely unexplored outside of grade school exclusives; only the “Hot Punch” pair from 2018 answers it, but this offers a much more easily worn edition. Tapping into the women’s demographic so precisely is a shrewd decision on Jordan Brand’s part, with the AJ4 persisting as their hottest commodity throughout this year.
