The Air Jordan 2/3 Has Its Own Lucky Shorts Colorway Too

Air Jordan drops are often accompanied by unassuming releases that feature a similar theme and color palette; a strategy meant to draw eyes to less hyped, under-the-radar models. The next release of this nature consists of the Jordan 2/3 hybrid, now available in a “Lucky Shorts” colorway akin to an upcoming Jordan 3 inspired by North Carolina.

The low-top Jordan 2 upper features a white leather base, with hallmark “University Blue” appearing on the heel structure, wings logo, and quarter piping. Dark “Obsidian” enters the fray on the lining and tongue border, while underfoot, the Jordan 3 sole makes use of both blue shades as well as “Sail.”

For the Jordan 2/3, the new colorway comes as a breath of fresh air. All colorways to date have featured only two tones (discounting “Sail”), so fans of the silhouette will be happy to see the model broadening its horizons, albeit just barely. It’s also worth pointing out that the shoe takes after the Jordan 1 Obsidian from 2019, which will return as a low-top in 2025, but “Lucky Shorts” seems like a more appropriate comparison given the hybrid model’s Jordan 3 tooling.

If you’re a fan, the Jordan 2/3 “Lucky Shorts” is available now via retailers for $160. See our “Where To Buy” section below for convenient purchase links.
