It’s equally fit for both verticals of their design philosophy, the calm, neutral side and the eccentric, vibrant side that the model has helped pushed to the forefront. But what about something in between? The New Balance 9060 “Heron Blue” answers that prompt, hitting retailers in short order.
Aquatic mesh underpinnings are met by select pops of fiery orange on the lipped heel and outlining the medial “N” branding. Otherwise, this design is carried by neutral tones of white and light grey throughout. It truly cuts both ways; while other options may present a more full-throated embrace of the Fall/Winter season, there aren’t many that are able to sneak some statement piece appeal into their design.
