Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG “Storm Blue” Releases On September 20th, 2025

Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG “Storm Blue” Releases On September 20th, 2025

We’ve already chalked off dozens of high-heat endeavors on the 2025 Jordan Release Dates slate, but there’s space in between for some more low-key drops. It’s a reflection of the current state of the Jumpman market that this release qualifies, but the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG “Storm Blue” coming on September 20th should feed consumers amid more seismic colorways.

As you might be able to guess from the title, the shoe essentially grafts the “Storm Blue” colorway from 1985 and, most recently, 2016. Such is pictured in early mock-up imagery, alongside one of the more considerable developments for the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG model, the return of the “Big Swoosh” that marked similar pairs dropped last decade. It’s a feature sported by some of the ’85 releases, and with the brand’s history expected to be on full display in 2025, the move aligns conceptually and from a business standpoint.

To that end, nearly every one of the Air Jordan 1’s original colorways will be touched on in some form or fashion in 2025. The Air Jordan 1 “Bred,” Jordan 1 “Black Toe Reimagined” and Jordan 1 “UNC Reimagined” present more conventional embraces. More indirectly, the Union Jordan 1 taps into both “Chicago” and “Shadow,” the Fragment Union Jordan 1 is reported to utilize “Neutral Grey,” and the Jordan 1 Low OG “Royal” brings the beloved black and blue a bit lower. Utilizing the silhouette’s most enduring looks is undoubtedly a cogent play given the Jordan Brand 40th anniversary, so this “Storm Blue” drop only furthers the celebratory air.

As of writing, the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG “Storm Blue” is set to release on September 20th, 2025, projected for a $140 retail price.
