The Nike C1TY Joins The “Year Of The Snake” Collection

Grade school sizes release Spring 2025.

The Nike C1TY Joins The “Year Of The Snake” Collection

The newly-introduced Nike C1TY has been the subject of heavy marketing throughout its short life, with “Nothing Beats The C1TY” posters featuring Jalen Brunson taking over our neck of the woods here in New York. For our purposes, the Beaverton brand is also amplifying the emerging model by including a kid’s colorway in their “Year Of The Snake” collection.

Just as we saw with the upcoming “Year Of The Snake” Dunk Low and Air Force 1 for kids, the shoe’s central features lives on the tongue. In delivering a bit of meta-textual commentary, Nike checks in with a small red snake tongue accent and colorful “Just Do It” text featuring snake illustrations.

The base of the shoe features white leather, not mesh in a never-before-seen twist, overlaid by grey suede panels around the toe and quarter. An olive green leather Swoosh with red detailing rounds out the upper, while off-white and brown color blocking on the outsole heightens focus on the C1TY’s grippy tread.

The Nike C1TY GS “Year Of The Snake” is due out in Spring 2025, likely around the start of the Lunar New Year in late January. See official images below if you’re considering copping a pair for your grade schooler.
