The following was published on November 28th, 2024: The Vomero isn’t going anywhere. A pillar of the Nike Running family of products, the fifth model of this storied chapter continues to enjoy its second life as the trend-setting comfort-casual silhouette that has drawn a number of competitors.

Typically appearing in muted lifestyle colorways, the Vomero 5 appears in a striking “Barely Volt” hue. Commonly associated with Nike’s high-performance footwear options, the volt shade fits perfectly with the Vomero 5 and its long-distance running roots. Navy blue adds a needed contrast on the mid-foot cage and quarter overlays, while a solar red contributes a vibrant note on the Swoosh logo, tongue, and surrounding accents.

The Zoom Vomero 5 really sees no signs of slowing down, so if you haven’t hopped on the bandwagon, there will be plenty of options to choose from next year. Expect this Volt colorway to arrive early Spring.
