One of the best non-original Air Jordan 1s of all time, the “Rookie Of The Year” from 2018, is coming back as a low-top. New images just landed alongside news of a January 4th, 2025 release date.
Consistent with our first look, the gallery below shows a white, pebbled leather base and “Golden Harvest” nubuck overlays, the latter of course deriving from the jacket Michael Jordan wore while accepting hit Rookie Of The Year Award in 1985. The high-top “Rookie Of The Year” arrived around the peak of Jordan 1 hype in 2018 and is regarded as one of the strongest AJ1s when it comes to material quality; a key factor in making it one of the best non-original Jordan 1s ever. While consumer demand for Mike’s first signature has cooled significantly in recent years, the “ROTY” Low could prove to be a much needed sell out. Notably, the 2018 release still goes for around 2x retail on the aftermarket.
The Air Jordan 1 Low “Rookie Of The Year” retails for $140 and will be available on January 4th, 2025. Return to our “Where To Buy” section below for purchase links on that date.
