Andrew Rizzo New Balance continues to touch down with fresh 2002Rs that are perfect for colder weather fashion. While this latest arrival doesn’t feature Cordura or GORE-TEX fabric, it slots seamlessly into autumn and winter wardrobes off color alone.
Official images showcase a “Driftwood” and “Rich Earth” mix up top, with dark “Timberwolf” painting the entire sole unit. As fas as materials go, these take a path well traveled with suede overlays and a breathable mesh base. Differing from most 2002Rs, however, the New Balance quarter logo is stitched flush with the base and doesn’t feature the usual 3M border.
