One of MJ's fiercest rivals takes over Spike's silo.

The Jordan Spizike Low Wears “Celtics” Colors For 2025

Sneakerheads of a certain age will know there was once a round rejection of hybrid Jordans. This group sentiment led the Spizike proper to be one of the more divisive models on the market during its initial run. While mashup silhouettes as a category haven’t exactly lit the world on fire, that’s precisely what makes the Spizike Low such an anomaly, launched to widespread success despite the fact it carries much of the same DNA that made earlier models misses. As it searches to bring that momentum into the new year, the Jordan Spizike Low is taking on “Celtics” colors, a stealthy match for the upcoming Spring season.

It’s been well-established for some time that hybrid models will take from mainline silhouettes, and the “Pine Green” Jordan 3 and “Celtics” Jordan 1 stand out as the closest comparison points. The latter particularly stands out, if only for the DMP edition, which popularized a black and green color palette before the former was ever conceptualized. The flashes of pine green on the midsole, lace anchors, and heel branding help to liven up an otherwise all-black profile. Yet those darkened shades and an all-leather build make this pair perfect for transitional weather. It’s able to stand up to winter climates yet still carry some sprightly tones in tow.

Look for the Jordan Spizike Low “Celtic” this Spring season, retailing for its typical $160 sticker price. Enjoy official images ahead, and keep an eye on our Jordan Release Dates hub for additional updates.
