Andrew Rizzo With the Air Jordan 11 Legend Blue set to retro for the first time in over a decade on December 14th, Jordan Brand is pulling out all the stops to ensure its big holiday AJ11 release is a success. The Jumpman’s latest ad transports us back to a sneaker campout, this time featuring several recognizable sneaker biz faces and names.
Although only on screen for a second, Tinker Hatfield steals the show. The designer of the Jordan 11 comes into the picture when a kid boasts “Tinker told me the design was inspired by a lawnmower,” which believe it or not is actually true.
The rest of the cast is made up of some of social media’s most prominent sneaker industry influences; @shoehefner5, @gming, @tmarkgotkickss, @jcheyenne_, @jessylaw, and @bahr_none all make cameos.
