ANTA Announces “11 Days” Exclusive Drops, Releases The KAI 1 “Love”

The romantic edition kicks off a Holiday release spree.

While a time honored tradition for decades, the advent calendar has become a fixation of the younger demo in recent years. As the actual holidays of the Holiday season approach, ANTA is ushering in their own take on the concept. The Chinese company just announced the “11 Days” program, a product showcase of the signature Kyrie Irving shoes line that’ll bring five exclusive colorways over that week-and-change-span, beginning with the just-released ANTA KAI 1 “Love.”

Though an on-court silhouette, the ANTA KAI 1 “Love” takes its aesthetic inspiration from some off-court territory, its rosy palette said to be inspired by “Kyrie’s dedication and commitment to charitable causes.” All told, it’s an easily digestible colorway, interrupting a mostly all-red colorway with a burgundy-to-orange ombre on the midsole and some jet-black trim in the margins.

As for the “daily drops” aspect at play here, in the promo images you can spot a few notable colorways that’ll be landing in the coming days. The “Love” edition featured here, a Mavericks-inspired edition and the ANTA KAI 1 “College,” are prominently featured. Again, ANTA specifically spells out “5 exclusive product drops,” so perhaps the biggest surprises are still to come — the program runs from December 11th to December 21st.
