COSTS Updates The Vans Knu Skool With “Rose Marble”

Vans doesn’t rely on collaborations nearly as much as competing sneaker brands, but when they do link up with an outside party, their storytelling is almost always on-point. The skate/surf company’s next joint effort with Chinese sneaker store COSTS hones in on China’s “Rose Marble” with two Knu Skools inspired by the distinctive stone.

As interior designers are surely well aware, Chinese “Rose Marble” is an elegant, distinctive, and highly-sought after export utilized commonly on countertops and the like. Naturally, the COSTS x Knu Skools incorporate the stone’s unique veining on the model’s puffy sidestripes and midsole. One colorway offers a more accurate representation of the stone in pink and white, while the other prioritizes versatility in black and white. Moreover, COSTS also adds rose motifs to the heel of both colorways.
