The Nike Air Max 1 “Psychic Blue” Foresees A Wave Of Knicks Fans

There’s no stopping Nike’s favoritism of the Knicks, at least in the form of sneaker colorways. Just recently, the Swoosh released a pairing of Air Force 1s in patent leather that would soothe the soul of any New York hoops fan. Now, the Air Max 1 gets the touch of the Mecca in a new “Psychic Blue”.

It’s hard not to connect orange and blue to the New York Knicks or even the New York Mets, especially when the tandem is unobstructed. In this case, the Air Max 1 features an upper pairing of Psychic Blue, while University Blue adds a slightly truer shade before making way to Deep Royal Blue-a true hallmark of Knickerbocker colors.

Hits of orange are seen only on the Nike Air branding, both tongue label and heel. The Air unit embedded in the sole, visible through the heel window, doesn’t hesitate to match.

You’ll be able to find these on Nike.com and select retailers this Spring 2025 for $140. In other AM updates, here’s the very latest on the Air Max 95 for 2025.
