Celtics’ “Stadium Green” Cracks The Nike Zoom Vomero 5

A fitting Spring release window for this do-up.

Celtics’ “Stadium Green” Cracks The Nike Zoom Vomero 5

Are the defending champs stumbling? After more or less cruising to an NBA title in 2023-24, the Boston Celtics appear to have some stiffer competition this time around: a dominant run in the Western Conference by the Oklahoma City Thunder, a historic start for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and a suddenly-threatening surge by the New York Knicks could each spell the C’s biggest challenge come playoff time. Perhaps they can find some comfort in Nike’s enduring lifestyle star, as the Vomero 5 is embracing “Celtics” colors for the season.

With its black and white foundation and flare of the titular “Stadium Green,” this shoe comfortably slides in the middle of either category. While of course there aren’t any overt nods to the Celtics on this shoe (no Lucky the Leprechaun nor four leaf clovers), that accessible color palette does make this a perfect match for any of Bean Town’s faithful as they vie for Banner 19.

The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Stadium Green” is expected to hit Nike.com and partnering retail shelves in the coming weeks as a part of the Nike Spring 2025 offerings. We’re anticipating the typical $160 MSRP upon arrival. Our Sneaker Release Dates page will contain any concrete updates on this pair, but in the meantime, enjoy official images embedded below.
