Original article published January 7th, 2025: One of the strongest “dad shoes” on the market just surfaced in a new colorway that’s about as “dad shoe” as they come. Following collaborations with Aimé Leon Dore and KITH as well as an applaudable slate of inline colorways, the New Balance 1000 is cleaning up in monochrome “Sea Salt/Reflection” makeup for Spring 2025.

Official images reveal a textured all-leather upper, differing slightly from the leather and suede composition of most preceding releases. These are aesthetically similar to ALD’s collaborative white colorway, although they’re without a TPU mudguard and vintage-inspired pops of cream. Even still, it won’t take long for these to grow into a similar aged aesthetic over time.

No release date has been set at the time of this writing, but indications suggest a Spring 2025 arrival for the standard $150 retail price. Scroll through official images below and keep our Sneaker Release Dates page on lock for all the latest from the Boston brand.
