It’s only a matter of time before the trend cycle makes a full revolution, because let us remind you, the Dunk “died” once before in the mid-late 2000s, only to come back stronger than ever.

While this upcoming release isn’t a direct commentary on the history of Dunk trends, the “Dunks Not Dead” certainly brings up the conversation. Punk music and fashion itself was a statement against the mainstream, with tattered military gear sending the provocative message.
