Let’s give the Air Jordan 1-13 a rest, and focus on the post-Bulls era of Air Jordan for a minute. While the Air Jordan 14 debuted at perhaps the finest point (or points) in MJ’s career, the fourteenth Air Jordan did not hit retail until after the GOAT hung up the red and black for good. Thus began the retirement era Air Jordan (save the two seasons with the Wizards), a time-span that Jordan Brand could be focusing on for the future of its Retro business.
With the Air Jordan 14 “Black Toe” seeing some demand post-release and the energy around the Air Jordan 17 Low at a high, it’s clear that the right product at the right time will always hit. While this Air Jordan 14 “Oxidized Green” is meant for the links and not for link-ups, it could indicate more Air Jordan 14 Retros in 2025 and beyond.
A first look at the upcoming golf shoe has been revealed by Jordan athlete and former NBA player Courtney Lee; it features the same white/black/green color-blocking, but with the spiked soles for the much-needed grip on grass surfaces.
A release is expected this Spring/Summer 2024, with a potential MSRP around $230.
