AtmosCon Returns This April 2025

The world's biggest sneaker brands descend on Tokyo.

AtmosCon Returns This April 2025

One of Japan’s premier retailers and movers in the space, atmos is stepping back into the live events ring. After a COVID-incited hiatus, the two-day convention is back, tipping off this April in Tokyo.

Like many of the in-person events in our corner of the world, atmosCon was halted due to the pandemic, suspending entirely after a digital edition of the event in 2021. Though this specific venture hasn’t been revisited until this announcement, note that the Japanese brand had been wading into larger events and activations in the years leading up, including hosting and presenting adidasCon by atmos in 2023 and 2024.

Nearly all of the major names in the footwear world will be represented as exhibitors: Nike, adidas ASICS, New Balance, On, PUMA, Converse, Crocs and Vans are just a selection of the companies who are already attached.

For 2025, atmos’ sights are bigger than ever, planning on continuing the visitorship growth experienced from its inaugural 2013 edition to “vol. 7” in 2019. On top of attracting more attendees, the imprint has their sights set on an expansion beyond simply sneakers, tagging that the 2025 event will incorporate “music, food, sports, art [in aims] to become Asia’s leading cultural convention.”

atmosCon will run from April 19th to April 20th in the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building in Tokyo’s Shinjuku City ward. Tickets go on sale on January 31st, with discounted tickets available for atmos members.
