The Air Jordan 1 Mid Adopts A “Rust Pink” Colorway

True to its “little brother” identity, the Air Jordan 1 Mid continually surfaces in colorways handed down by the AJ1 High. The “Rust Pink” Jordan 1 was one of two premium, ultra-limited colorways that released exclusively at Art Basel Miami in 2017, and once resold for almost $10,000 at the pinnacle of AJ1 hype. Shelling out thousands for a sneaker is unrealistic for many, but if you’re fond of that design and immune to “Mid” slander, this upcoming “Rust Pink” colorway is for you.

The gallery below shows grade school sizing, but the “Rust Pink” AJ1 Mid is also expected to release for men. Just like the grail that inspired it, the shoe closely borders “Black Toe” color blocking with a black, white, and “Rust Pink” upper. A couple of key changes to note; the Wings logos appear in white (not black) and the outsole comes in black (not pink).

Importantly, while still a developing story, we’re hearing that Jordan Brand plans to release a “Rust Pink” Jordan 1 Low OG in 2025. While it’s still no substitute for the High, the “OG” low-top is far more accepted than the Mid, reserved for things like Travis Scott shoe collaborations and more significant GRs.

Back to the sneaker at hand, the “Rust Pink” Jordan 1 Mid GS goes for $110 and will be available via nike.com and retailers shortly. See official images below and tap our Jordan Release Dates page to stay current on all upcoming drops.
