The Next END. Clothing x Vans Collaboration Is Inspired By Parachutes

Vans, END. Clothing, and South Korean brand ANGLAN, have joined forces on a collaborative Vans LX Old Skool 136 inspired by military parachutes.

True to its nickname, the sneaker comes in all-white and features ripstop material in place of leather/suede. Moreover, as the lesser-known “136” version of the iconic Old Skool, the sneaker features higher rubber foxing that crops up onto the toe box. The suede toe box itself is shrunk down to make room for the added rubber, and a pull tab over the heel improves accessibility. Throwback black and white “Off The Wall” logos and co-branded insoles round out all the highlights.

Importantly, the project comes as Vans is trying to reinvigorating the Old Skool through a number of different efforts. Vans came out with a new reinforced model called the Old Skool 36+ earlier this year, and more recently kicked off a Premium Old Skool Music Collection that will run through April.

Back to the sneaker at hand, the END. Clothing x ANGLAN x Vans LX Old Skool 136 “Parachute” retails for $125 and releases via draw on the END. website. Tap here to get your entry in before submissions close at 7:00 PM EST on February 20th.
