For its past few iterations, the tech-colliding line has issued new silhouettes on a two year rotation, logically leading us to expect some new blood this year. As of now, that new version is still entirely unclear, but perhaps because there’s still work to do on the current model.
With the “Pure Platinum/White/Black” Vapormax 2023 at hand, Nike plays the silhouette close to its default arrangement, keeping the breathable Flyknit upper largely in one color while planting a more eye-catching one underfoot. That clashing layout only further casts into relief the opposing design language that’s propelled the model to being a true standout, combining two of the Swoosh’s best-recieved comfort tech of the past decade and change.
Expect the Nike Vapormax 2023 “Pure Platinum/White/Black” to hit shelves in the near future as a part of Nike’s Spring/Summer ’25 offerings. Retail is set at $210.
