With March Madness right around the corner, Steph Curry is remembering his college hoops career with a “Spark” UA Curry 12 inspired by his alma mater of Davidson University.
In 2008, long before earning his title as the greatest shooter of all time, Steph Curry made a name for himself by authoring one of the most memorable Cinderella playoff runs of all time. The statistics speak for themselves; Steph averaged 32 points, 5.75 threes, and 3.25 steals per game, all of which led the tournament, carrying the Davidson Wildcats to their first and only appearance in the Elite Eight. He stamped himself as a deserving NBA Lottery pick, and the rest is history.
This UA Curry 12 acknowledges the “Spark” that started it all with fiery graphics on the midsole and heel counter, complemented by Davidson-esque red throughout the rest of the design.
