Andrew Rizzo Calling all Harry Potter fanatics; PUMA is stepping back into the world of wizardry with sneakers inspired by the Gryffindor and Slytherin Hogwarts houses.
Born from PUMA athlete Breanna Stewart’s self-proclaimed obsession with Harry Potter, which resulted in a PUMA Stewie 3 collaboration in 2024, the next capsule delivers Hogwarts-inspired takes on the PUMA Palermo and Easy Rider lifestyle models.
Starting with Gryffindor, Harry Potter’s house gets a red and yellow Palermo featuring gold Gryffindor iconography on the heel, tongue, and added lace cover. The upper consists of a mesh base, nubuck overlays, and suede Formstrip, while the lower half calls in a standard brown gum sole. Draco Malfoy’s Slytherin also gets a PUMA Palermo, appearing in black and dark green with house iconography in all the same places. Fittingly, the Slytherin Palermo gives off a more devious vibe with a snake-inspired ripstop base.
The third and final member of the capsule is a PUMA Easy Rider inspired by the fictional sport of quidditch. The Golden Snidget appears as a metal accessory, while the sneaker itself revolves around a palette of black and brown. The Hogwarts is presented in gold on the tongue, matched in essence by a “H” on the heel. Gryffindor’s lion logo is stamped onto the lateral side of the heel, complemented by red and yellow stripes on the midsole just underneath.
