The below article was originally published on March 7th, 2025.

Following a successful debut collaboration in 2024, bespoke clothing brand Bode is reconvening with Nike on another round of Astrograbber colorways.

Two styles are releasing in mid-March; one in “Black/Coconut Milk” and another in “Chlorophyll.” The black colorway features a mesh base, leather Swoosh and tongue, and suede panels around the eyelets, heel, and mudguard section. The green “Chlorophyll” colorway, which was previewed at Paris Fashion Week in February, appears to come with a leather upper.

You can think of Bode Astrograbbers as Nike’s answer to Wales Bonner Sambas. They’re chic collaborations on slim sneakers once used for sport, albeit the models have very different origins. The Astrograbber was one of Nike’s first forays into American football, debuting in 1974 on the heels of the pioneering Waffle Trainer. Bode collaborations are all we’ve seen from the model in the modern era, but its younger sibling in the Field General has become an inline fixture in the past year or so.

Nike has officially announced release dates: the green pair will drop on March 14th exclusively at Bode in-store and online; the black pair pictured below will drop on SNKRS on March 21st.
