Where To Buy The Nike Air Max Uptempo “Mystic Teal”

A specific era of Nike Basketball is gaining momentum as of late, so there’s no better time for the Swoosh to bring back some of the most memorable hits of that time-frame. In addition to icons like the Air Foamposite One and Air Flightposite One, Nike is bringing back the Air Max Uptempo “Mystic Teal”, the debut colorway of the first basketball sneaker in Nike history to utilize a visible full-length Max Air unit.

Then, it was a technological marvel on a sneaker cushioning standpoint. Today, it exudes a nostalgic excellence. The bulky frame, simple white/black colorway, and pop of color on the cushioning system screams the mid-1990s-a time when Nike could not miss with any of their designs.

The “Mystic Teal” nor the model itself isn’t exactly tied to one athlete. Scottie Pippen is the first to come to mind when considering the Uptempo series, but in late 1995 and into 1996, everyone from the NBA ranks to middle school hoops wanted to rock these.

On March 9th, Nike is officially bringing back the Air Max Uptempo “Mystic Teal”; beneath the gallery of images is a comprehensive store list detailing exactly where you can buy them at 10 AM ET. MSRP is set at $165.
