His squad is going on fourteen straight wins at the time of this writing, all but securing the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference ahead of the playoffs. The Cavs’ recent play can be likened to a monster on a tear, and with that, this “Metamorphosis” adidas D.O.N. Issue #6 seems more than fitting.
The sneaker is part of a larger “Metamorphosis” adidas Basketball collection alongside James Harden, Dame Lillard, and Anthony Edwards shoes, all of which drop on March 15th. Mitchell’s pair favors a white and light green color palette, broken up by blue hits on the upper piping and quarter underlays. These might feature glow-in-the-dark outsoles, which would certainly enhance the overarching theme, but it’s hard to say for sure without having the sneakers in-hand.
