As Jordan Brand builds further inroads into golf, the Air Jordan 1 remains the North Star, contributing two tentpoles of the brand’s strategy in its Low Golf and Low Golf Mule builds. The former is easily the more intelligible option, keeping static its most core composition but just adding some refreshed traction underfoot. As the season gets into swing, a sleek edition is poised to enter the fray via the Air Jordan 1 Low Golf “Light Orewood Brown.”

We’ll bury the lede no longer — as promised in our title, the earthy elephant print that coats the Swoosh clearly stands as the central design aspect with this colorway, paired aesthetically to the similarly refined outsole. The rest of the shoe delivers a smattering of neutrals well-aligned with those refined touches, including the ever-present aged sole underfoot. While golf wear often leans towards the playful side, if your goal is bringing the timeless style of the AJ1 to a round of 18, this is as suitable a look as you’ll find.
