Sneaker News POST ARCHIVE FACTION is becoming one of, if not already, the most pivotal collaborative partners for Swiss brand On. The South Korean label, which piqued the interests of the likes of Virgil Abloh and Kendrick Lamar during its earliest aughts, has become renowned for their artisanal take on tech-wear and utility-focused gear built with performance-specific materials. It translated perfectly to On’s core-running aesthetic, and their breakthrough collaboration that debuted during Paris Fashion Week in 2023 has positioned them as a key creative source for the Swiss Brand’s push into lifestyle.
That initial launch spotlighted the Cloudmonster 2 with an elegantly re-crafted upper that applied their not-entirely-practical-but-functional look with the thick and bulky sole. The trail-inspired Cloudventure echoes the design with a shapely mold that be-fits the slimmer and low-profile sole.
Now, PAF and On have officially unveiled CURRENT FORM 2.0+, the latest installment of their ongoing partnership. Both silhouettes are served up again; the Cloudmonster 2 will feature a new Thorn/Brown and Vapor/Frost colorway, whilst the counterpart arrives in all-black and an Ice/Moon combination.
A release date is confirmed for March 19th, 2025 via a limited early access period followed by a wider launch on March 20th, 2025 online and at select retailers.
