If It Wasn’t For Basketball, De’Aaron Fox Might’ve Been A Pro Gamer

Hit the sticks with the Spurs star.

If It Wasn’t For Basketball, De’Aaron Fox Might’ve Been A Pro Gamer

A lot of professional athletes in the NBA find refuge in gaming. In the limited downtime as well as the odd working hours (most NBA games are at night), hoopers are known to hit the sticks and fire up a game of Fortnite, Call Of Duty, and several other online community-based gaming franchises. In fact, many pro ballers are Twitch streamers as well; Fox himself has over 50k followers on that platform.

This upcoming Curry Fox 1 release is a nod to that off-court passion. It starts off with a solid black base with pops of a pink-ish red on the Fox logo on the tongue and the insoles. The mid-foot strap and the heel, however, is covered in a lenticular finish, emanating hits of prismatic colors on the primarily silvery platinum finish.

With De’Aaron shut down for the season due to injury, it looks like he’ll be firing up the console and/or PC more often than not. Look out for the Curry Fox 1 to hit stores beginning April 1st.
