While the two-toned red colorway connects to the colors of both the 49ers and the Falcons, it’s actually a tribute to his mother Connie Knight. While there are no external details that allude to the concept, the insole features “Love Letter To Connie”, stamping these as a tribute to the maternal figure who continues to shift his perspective.
This continues a recent influx of Diamond Turf styles that tell more stories off the field; the recent “Signing Day” colorway recognizes Deion’s flashy outfit and jewelry from the night he got drafted into the NFL back in 1989.
