A “Mushroom” Sprouts On The Nike Dunk Low

Especially for women’s and kids’ colorways, Beaverton is more than willing to have some fun with their core product. While one-off looks of that sort have lined the blogosphere for years, the more notable editions come with “pack” releases, or joined palettes and concepts across multiple shoes. The emergence of the Nike Dunk Low “Mushroom” signals exactly that, joining some previously seen pairs with a flora-fied motif.

Notably, this Dunk Low isn’t depicted with the wooden mushroom charm that the previously unveiled Air Force 1 and Air Jordan 1 Low with the same theme each carried. Even without that platful character, the concept is still applied in heavy doses, be it the woody tongue tag or insole, the embroidered flora on the toe-box and heel, or the consistent pastel palette. If we had one note for the Swoosh design team with this shoe, perhaps synthetic mushroom leather would’ve been a fitting choice… but even without it, this shoe makes for some lively seasonal wear.

Look for the Nike Dunk Low “Mushroom” coming via Nike channels for the Spring/Summer ’25 shopping season. A $125 retail price is expected.
