Air Jordan 1 High “Patent Bred Toe” Is Hitting The Football Field

You’re in the minority if you don’t spot at least one pair of Jordan 1 cleats on football Sundays. MJ’s first sneaker has been the main driver of Jordan Brand’s ambitions on the gridiron in recent years, cementing a place in the NFL as well as all other ranks of the sport. While far removed from the start of the 2025-26 season, we’ve just uncovered a new colorway that looks to get plenty of run come opening night.

The next Jordan 1 football cleat is rooted in Chicago with a “Patent Bred Toe” design, taken with glossy black leather on the toe, Swoosh, and eyelet panels. The rest of the high-top build opts for standard matte leather, complete underfoot by red rubber spikes. Jordan Brand tends to release AJ1 football cleats as high and low-tops, so it’s likely we’ll also get a low featuring the same design theme.

The Jordan 1 High “Patent Bred Toe” cleat is expected to release Summer 2025, carrying the usual $150 box price. See official images below if you’re moved to cop a pair.
