Ja Morant Remembers The KD 6 “Seat Pleasant” With Upcoming Nike Ja 2

It’s hard to tell who exactly Ja Morant’s modeled his game after, because there simply isn’t anyone out there that can do what he does. One thing is for sure: his generation of basketball players all looked up to Kevin Durant, and it’s that respect that may have inspired this upcoming Nike Ja 2 release.

Dubbed the “Out My Body” colorway, this Ja 2 draws in Sonic Yellow, Black, and Tropical Teal — identical colors of Easy Money Sniper’s Nike KD 6 “Seat Pleasant” of 2013. That launch colorway of Durant’s sixth signature shoe set the tone for the entire life cycle of that model that to this date has been one of the most successful signature shoes in Nike Basketball history.

Ja Morant’s version, reprising that same DC-inspired colorway, features the bright yellow across the upper with the teal hits on the midsole and Swoosh; even the grills-shaped lace dubrae is covered in the same greeninsh-blue hue.

This Nike Ja 2 “Out My Body” is dropping on April 1st, 2025 for $120; see official images ahead and stay tuned for more updates on basketball shoes dropping Summer 2025.
