Andrew Rizzo The run of Crocs collaborations with iconic media franchises has made a pass through Springfield. Matt Groening’s The Simpsons is easily one of the most iconic TV shows of all time; aging like a fine wine as it approaches almost four decades on the air. Whether you’re a 90s kid that witnessed its peak run or a newer adopter, the upcoming Simpsons Crocs capsule is must for diehard fans.
This black, white, and yellow style is the second we’ve seen at the time of this writing, coming right after a Krusty The Clown clog. To little surprise, the Jibbitz steal the show. Charms for Homer, Marge, Lisa, Bart, and Maggie depict the characters doing their favorite activities, complemented by Santa’s Little Helper and Snowball Jibbitz. The most notable, however, is a couch and TV set depicting the show’s opening credits. The black and white base features doodles of all the characters, while a yellow heel strap is affixed by buttons featuring Homer’s face. The Simpsons logo appears in yellow over a black heel, accompanied by a Matt Groening credit on the inner side of the strap.
