The adidas Samba Stays Chic With Cracked Metallic Leather

Indoor soccer shoes have never been more chic. In adding fuel to a trend made popular by Wales Bonner, adidas has been steadily revisiting the Samba in new materials that give it an elevated, premium edge. On the heels of a smash-hit duo of leopard Sambas, the Three Stripes is moving in a different direction with a “Cracked Metallic” women’s release; available now on adidas.com.

Reeling influence from the “Silver Metallic” Wales Bonner Samba released in 2023, the sneaker comes decked out in a cracked metallic leather upper. The stripes, backtab, and tongue come in white leather, while brown gum soles make a familiar appearance underfoot. The “Silver/Off White” Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 also stands out as a likeminded comparison, with the Samba offering a similar genre of contemporary appeal.

The “Cracked Metallic” Samba is available now via the adidas website, carrying a reasonable $100 price tag. Our “Where To Buy” section ahead includes purchase links.
