The Air Jordan 1 Low Blends Abstract Blocking With Throwback Mavs Colors

A hybrid that's not quite a hybrid.

The Air Jordan 1 Low Blends Abstract Blocking With Throwback Mavs Colors

With brands’ catalogs across the landscape shifting into warm weather mode, we’ve extensively covered fresh formulations from Jordan Brand that reinvent their core models with seasonal looks. However, though we and likely most of our readership can imagine what’s coming down the pike in broad strokes, we’re still liable to be surprised every so often — exactly the case with the Air jordan 1 Low “Deep Royal Blue” at hand.

You really can’t say it any plainer: the concept for this colorway appears to be fusing two entirely different shoes. The “Stadium Green” and “Deep Royal Blue” work well enough alongside each other, but contrast the “Muslin,” “Neutral Grey,” and “Sail” tones through the quarter and midsole enough to strike as coming from entirely opposite schools of thought. Given that the Jumpman’s work in the Retro vertical has a tendency of informing product in lower tiers, perhaps this is a tacit tie back to the “Rare Air,” already sharing many of the same color swatches used on the collection’s blue pair.

As a general release offering, don’t expect a concrete release date for the Air Jordan 1 Low “Deep Royal Blue.” Instead, this pair will likely populate Nike.com and retailer shelves without much warning, landing sometime in the Summer ’25 window. To stay up to date with the latest, as always, keep it locked in to our Jordan Release Dates hub.
