Far from its original simplistic arrangements, gradients continue to come into focus as the shoe factors heavily into the Swoosh’s Spring/Summer offerings, again on display with the Nike Shox TL “Purple Fade” in question.
Indeed, that “Purple Fade” ombre brings the mesh foundation from pure white at the toe into the duskier pastel underneath the color. To keep that design cohesive, the Shox TL matches that hue with the leather panel that anchors the heel. Though the delicate ombre treatment is squarely the focus of this design, bracketing that touch with “Metallic Silver” coloring on the overlays and sole unit delivers the Y2K inspiration we’ve come to expect from Nike Shox retro product.
