Nike Casts “Purple Fade” Aesthetics On The Shox TL

As the retro effort for the Nike Shox TL has continued on, Nike has increased their willingness to get a bit wild on the canvas. Far from its original simplistic arrangements, gradients continue to come into focus as the shoe factors heavily into the Swoosh’s Spring/Summer offerings, again on display with the Nike Shox TL “Purple Fade” in question.

Indeed, that “Purple Fade” ombre brings the mesh foundation from pure white at the toe into the duskier pastel underneath the color. To keep that design cohesive, the Shox TL matches that hue with the leather panel that anchors the heel. Though the delicate ombre treatment is squarely the focus of this design, bracketing that touch with “Metallic Silver” coloring on the overlays and sole unit delivers the Y2K inspiration we’ve come to expect from Nike Shox retro product.

As a true GR, there’s no hard and fast release date for the Nike Shox TL “Purple Fade.” Instead, expect these to hit Nike.com and local retailer shelves sometime in the next several weeks, carrying a $170 retail price in women’s sizing. Enjoy official images included below while you wait.
