The Nike Shox R4 Dazzles In “Soft Metallic Gold”

Women's sizes release Summer 2025.

The Nike Shox R4 Dazzles In “Soft Metallic Gold”

Just like their parents in the 2000s, Gen Z consumers are proving to be big Nike Shox fans. Considering the ongoing Y2K fashion trend, which is particularly popular among younger consumers, the modern Shox renaissance isn’t necessarily surprising. Hate them or love them, it’s hard to argue that any other sneaker (or series) epitomizes the turn of the century quite like Nike Shox.

The original Shox R4 has been one of the more frequent news topics throughout the current Nike Shox wave, rivaled only by its suvessor in the Shox TL. Now riding strong into yet another season, Nike is adding to its well of era-appropriate styles with a “Soft Metallic Gold” colorway for women. The sidewalls, toe cap, and four circular Shox columns take the titular hue, while light pink makes the subtlest of appearances on the outsole. All other elements clean up in white, thus creating a lighter alternative to the model’s recognizable “Black/Gold” colorway.

The Shox R4 “Soft Metallic Gold/White/Pink” releases Summer 2025 for $150 in women’s sizing; see official images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview more upcoming pairs.
