The Jordan Brand Classic has touched down in the nation’s capital. The Jumpman has gathered the country’s top youth talent in basketball in search of the next great star, a platform that has showcased some all-time greats such as Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, and more.
With the annual event comes special edition footwear to coincide with the festivities. For 2025, Jordan Brand has crafted a special Air Jordan 3 Retro featuring a classic build based on the “White Cement Reimagined” colorway, complete with Nike Air on the heel and matching hangtags and a pre-yellowed midsole. Touches of university blue appear on the lower and upper lace eyelets as well as on the traction pod on the outsole.
On the tongue is a special Jordan Brand Classic logo in text that encapsulates the Jordan logo, while a pattern that resembles either crashing waves or marble appears screened onto the heel-plate. While it’s hard to tell what the root of the design is, it could have some connection to Washington D.C..
This Air Jordan 3 “Jordan Brand Classic” PE will not hit retail at any point and will be handed out to the athletes participating in the event this weekend.
