The Nike Dunk Low Takes On “Bright Citron” For Summer

We’ve noted similar before, but the Nike Dunk Low isn’t in the industry-defining pole position it once was. For those swayed by grey market pricing, it likely means you’ll be avoiding Peter Moore’s design for the foreseeable future, but the model’s functional bonafides haven’t changed at all. It’s still among the easiest reached for models in the Swoosh archive due to its simplistic hardware, so the summery “Bright Citron” edition should be a leading, accessible candidate to join your warm weather rotation.

Part of why we feel so confident stamping that is because this colorway wears such easily identifiable sunny shades, planting “Bright Citron” across the outsole, laces and Swoosh to single-handedly brighten up the composition. Stopping just short of becoming too vibrant, “Desert Ochre” tonality sneaks onto the overlays and heel cup, still allowing for the warmer side of the color wheel to dominate here but adding some grounded notes into this profile. Staid white leather across the underpinnings and midsole round out this tri-tone edition.

The Nike Dunk Low “Bright Citron” should hit shelves over the next several weeks, carrying the usual $115 MSRP in men’s sizing once released.
