Andrew Rizzo Placed at the intersection of retro runners and “gorpcore” outdoor shoes, the remixed Nike Pegasus Wave is quietly pressing forth in new colorways. Next up; this attention-grabbing “Black/Pink Blast” look for Summer 2025.
As we’ve seen time and again since the Wave’s late 2024 debut, the design is anchored by a gradient cage. In heightening focus on the key Pegasus 2K5 alteration, the ventilated TPU structure transitions from “Metallic Platinum” to “Pink Blast” from the top-down. The former shades ties in the with underlays, while the latter paves a seamless transition down into the midsole. The rest of the upper, including the padded canvas areas around the forefoot and heel, stealthens up in black.
