For sneakerheads of a certain age, it still feels a bit surreal that we’ve reached the Kevin Durant retro era. As the Nike KD 4 appears to have concluded its strong run with the “Easter” colorway, we’re learning that the Nike KD 6 will be the next Durant signature to enter the retro canon.

Just the like the KD 4 and KD 3 before it, we can count on the Nike KD 6 to revisit many of the same styles we know and love from 2013-14. Per @sneakermarketro the KD 6 “PBJ” (Peanut Butter Jelly) will be one to look out for during the Spring 2026 window. The design takes inspiration from KD’s favorite childhood snack with a purple, jelly-inspired Swoosh atop a yellow upper, complemented by black treatments on the tongue and medial side. According to the same source, the beloved Nike KD 6 “All-Star” from 2014’s “NOLA Gumbo League” pack is also set to return Spring 2026.

The Nike KD 6 marked a significant moment for the Easy Money Sniper’s signature line, differing from its predecessor with a low-top height and sleek upper. It’s got hexagonal traction underfoot, Flywire cables for stability, and visible, 360 degree Zoom Air around the heel (there’s also an “Elite” version with full-length Air). Most importantly; the KD 6 was the sneaker Durant wore throughout his MVP year with Oklahoma City. We’re expecting retro releases to look exactly like their 2010s counterparts, although hidden performance upgrades are possibility.

As mentioned, the Nike KD 6 “PBJ” retro is due out during the Spring 2026 shopping season. Retail is set at $140, which is actually ten dollars less than the model’s MSRP back in the 2010s. See detailed images of the 2013 pair below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page for more.

On the more modern side of Kevin Durant shoes, the Nike KD 18 “EYBL” releases April 25th, 2025.
