Original article published May 15th, 2025:

Nike’s soccer efforts were back in full effect before the dawn of #bootsonlysummer. However, the casual adoption of full-fledged on-pitch styles certainly portends amenable conditions for the brand’s more experimental looks. As the Swoosh checks off many of the reigned-in OG-inspired designs, they’re now embracing the flashier side of the cataog with an all “Metallic Silver” edition of the Total 90 III SP.

Crucially, this approaches the silver/black/red debut colorway for the lifestyle tooling, keeping the original spirit alive even if the white midsole/grey outsole combination wasn’t represented in the cleat’s original run. To further hone that shimmering combination, a white Swoosh interrupts the reflective fare at the quarter, while some sensible contrast arrivews with pale blue branding on the insole.

Retailer images of the Nike Total 90 III SP surfacing in this way likely indicates a launch next season, sometime in the Fall shopping season from July to September. Though the silver treatments here may command a slight premium on the shoe’s usual retail price, expect something in the $110 to $130 range.
