Kobe Bryant’s Nike Mamba Baseball Equipment Collection Launches On May 30th

Nike Baseball is supporting the wide release of the Kobe 6 “Dodgers” with a Mamba-inspired equipment collection. Concurrent with the sneakers, the full gear assortment will be available through Nike SNKRS on May 30th here.

The highlight is a custom Dodgers jersey featuring “Mamba” text in the team’s iconic cursive font. Kobe’s signature logo appears in red on the chest, complemented by his 8 and 24 jersey numbers on the sleeve and back, respectively. In commemorating Kobe’s last NBA game on April 13, 2016, stitched text reading “Thank You Kobe” and “Mamba Out” appears on the lower right. The same message is subtly stitched onto the inner placket, while black/white flannel lining produces an unmistakable nod to SoCal fashion.

Turning focus to the actual equipment side of the delivery, Nike Baseball has prepared arms sleeves, batting gloves, sliding gloves, and a catchers set. Snakeskin textures are used consistently across the diamond propositions, as is Kobe’s signature logo and 8 jersey number. While not included here, Nike is also releasing “Dodgers” Kobe slides alongside the sneakers.

As mentioned, the Kobe 6 “Dodgers” and accompanying baseball gear release through Nike SNKRS on May 30th. Tap here to cop on that date.
