Jalen Brunson sits at the front of the priority lane for Kobe Brand. The All-NBA guard has been rocking player-only Kobe colorways all season while rotating some fresh pairs throughout the 2025 Playoffs. This Holiday season, he’ll be getting his first-ever release at retail via the Kobe 6 Protro in a color palette tied to New York City.
Brunson debuted the shoes during Game 2 of the Knicks/Pacers Eastern Conference Finals series, and immediately the shoes stood out for its resemblance to the Statue Of Liberty. The connection wasn’t subtle as Nike paired the Hyper Turquoise upper with Metallic Copper to represent the natural patina of the high-rising lady at Ellis Island. Beneath the upper is marbled pattern in a near-monochromatic look.
A release date has not yet been confirmed, but expect a launch this Holiday 2025 for $190, according to our sister account Kicksfinder.
